In the previous episode of “Oversimplified SEO” I explained you how to rank #1 in Google for any keyword.

What I suggested is that you should replicate all links of your competitors and then go get even more.

That video gathered quite a bit of comments on Facebook, where you guys where suggesting lots of other things that influence rankings, besides links.

So I decided to devote the next episode of the “Oversimplified SEO” to ranking without links!

How To Rank In Google Without Links

NOTE: if you’re enjoying my “Oversimplified SEO” series I invite you to subscribe to Ahrefs YouTube channel.

Here’s a quick recap of the idea behind the video:

If your Domain Rating is very strong, the pages of your website may rank high in Google even when having zero backlinks.

    What is Domain Rating?

Domain Rating is the combined power of ALL backlinks that link to ALL pages of your website.

So to be honest, the headline of this video is a little bit misleading.

You can rank in Google without backlinks to this particular page. But this requires you to have TONS of links to other pages under that same domain.

Hope that doesn’t sound too confusing.
