Product Marketing at Ahrefs

June 26, 20262 min read

We've got 5 major updates this month, from Ask Ahrefs (formerly Agent B), our new embedded AI agent, to prompt-based indexes in Brand Radar and review management in GBP Monitor.

Let's dive in.

Ask Ahrefs

Ask Ahrefs (formerly Agent B) is now available under the Help menu as a side panel on any Ahrefs page.

It reads both the page you are on and your entire Ahrefs workspace, so you can ask it to summarize what is on screen, compare your site against competitors, or explain a spike in mentions.

It's an agent rather than a chatbot because it runs Ahrefs API queries, navigates tools, and applies filters on its own to pull the data it needs.

Ask Ahrefs is free for everyone during beta. Enterprise users can ask their account manager to switch it on.

Brand Radar

Cited pages: Bot visits and AI traffic columns

The Cited pages report now has two new columns for your website.

Bot visits pulls from Bot Analytics to show how often AI bots crawl each cited page, while AI traffic pulls from Web Analytics to show actual visits arriving from AI sources.

Both columns cover the last 90 days and link back to their core tools so you can dig deeper with one click.

Together they show which cited pages are actually driving AI traffic, not just getting crawled.

New prompt-based AI Overviews and AI Mode indexes

Brand Radar now tracks how AI responds to full, long-form questions via new prompt-based indexes for Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. This is closer to how people actually prompt these tools.

View all prompt-based platforms at once in a consistent layout, or use the Platform filter to focus on a specific one.

A few things to note on the transition:

  • The AI Overviews keyword-based index keeps updating as before
  • The old AI Mode index is no longer updated
  • Historical data from the old AI Mode index stays available for a limited time

Site Audit

Fix with Agent A and Copy for AI

Issue pages now have a Fix with Agent A button. One click sends your current issues to Agent A, our AI marketing agent, which investigates and works through a fix in seconds.

If you prefer your own AI tool, the API button now includes a Copy for AI section in three places: Page Explorer, Single-issue view, and All issues report.

Each exports your top pages and issues as clean Markdown, ready to paste into any AI client.

GBP Monitor

Review management for Google business listings

Review management is now live in GBP Monitor. You can see reviews and ratings across all your Google business listings in one dashboard and reply to them inline, without switching between profiles.

AI-assisted replies and review intelligence are coming next.

Social Media Manager

Comments and Mentions report

The new Engagements section in Social Media Manager has two parts:

  1. Comments let you view and reply to comments on your social posts from one place
  2. Mentions rounds up everywhere your brand gets tagged or named across those same channels, whether in a post, a caption, or a comment on your own or external accounts

You can view full context, jump to the original post, mark mentions as open or closed, and filter by status or channel.

That's all for this month. Check out our full changelog for the rest of the smaller updates, or leave any feature requests on our Canny board. Enjoy!
