Price: Free
Best for: Website owners looking for simple tools to manage their website, but aren’t ready to pay for marketing tools just yet.
This plan allows you to use 5 of our powerful tools for free anytime, for an unlimited number of verified projects (websites you can prove ownership of):

An example of crucial website data you can view without paying a single cent is backlinks for your website. You can filter by 100+ page types to surface authoritative referrers of your brand, and what drives relevant mentions of it.

Ahrefs offers 5 paid subscription plans:

- Lite ($129/mo)
- Standard ($249 /mo)
- Advanced ($449 /mo)
- Enterprise ($1490 /mo)
Asides from the Starter plan, all other paid plans can be purchased monthly or annually, with 2 free months available for annual plans.
Starter plan ($29/mo)
Best for: Beginner SEOs and digital marketers looking for an affordable way to grow their websites.
The Starter plan allows you to view traffic, keywords, and backlink data for any website, not just websites you own in Site Explorer.
It also gives access to Keywords Explorer and Rank Tracker to research keywords worth ranking for, then track their movements in search. This plan can help you build the foundation for marketing your websites affordably before committing to a pricier plan.
The Starter plan uses credits for usage limits. One credit is spent when you load or filter a report in Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer and Content Explorer.

Compared to the Starter plan, Ahrefs’ Lite plan has considerably increased usage limits.
You’ll get access to powerful and time-saving tools like Ahrefs MCP, which allows you to access and use Ahrefs’ API through your favourite AI assistant and Competitor Analysis, which allows you to quickly find keywords and backlinks gaps against your competitors. You also get 2 additional users to join your workspace and 500 credits included monthly.

Standard plan ($249/month)
Best for: Marketers going beyond the basics to grow brand authority, and further develop their website(s) and/or brand(s) in a competitive niche.
Alongside higher usage limits, the Standard plan comes with more advanced analysis reports with Portfolios and Batch Analysis. It also comes with many more features for finding ideal keywords faster in Keywords Explorer such as Keyword clustering, Search intents, and SERP updates. Standard also gives access to Content Explorer and Linking authors, which helps you explore content across the web to find PR opportunities and authors of high-authority publications.
The good news is that Standard and higher plans are no longer restricted by credits. Unlimited usage is still subjected to our terms and conditions.

Advanced plan ($449/month)
Best for: Larger marketing teams and agencies who are growing brand discovery on well established websites with more than 50,000 pages.
The Advanced plan has more than double the data viewing, export limits and historical data viewing limits across all core tools. Access Looker studio connectors for creating cross-tool custom reports. Agencies can also join the Digital Marketing Agencies directory on this plan. This plan is great for those who take on larger, more complex website projects.
Ahrefs supports Looker Studio connectors for Site Explorer, Site Audit and Rank Tracker. This allows you to visualize and present data from all 3 tools in the same report with other data connectors.

Best for: Organizations that need to provide and control Ahrefs access for more than 11 people,
The Enterprise plan is our most complete plan, giving access to the full range of automations, data access, analytics capabilities, and user access management tools Ahrefs has to offer.
It is the only plan with direct access to our API for all our core tools, unlimited users, and advanced access control and monitoring features including SSO.
If you need to sign a custom agreement or make changes to our standard terms and conditions before purchasing Ahrefs, this can only be done for special cases on the Enterprise plan.

Optional Add-ons
Ahrefs has optional paid add-ons that can extend the usage limits on top of your existing subscription plan. Add-ons can be prepaid, or purchased any time during your billing cycle.

Brand Radar (starts at $199/mo)
Price for a single platform (e.g. ChatGPT only): $199 per month
Price for all 6 AI platforms: $699 per month
Best for: Marketers looking to grow brand visibility in AI platforms and monitor how AI talks about their brand over time.
Brand Radar helps you monitor AI visibility in over 250M+ prompts across 6 AI platforms, as well as custom prompts of your choice. Benchmark your AI share of voice against competitors, identify top cited pages and domains, and find opportunities to get mentioned more in AI Answers.
This tool helps you understand how AI answers questions (backed by search data) today and in the past, with no setup time.

- Unlimited browsing of any reports in Brand Radar
- Any Brand Radar index purchases come with 2500 checks for Custom Prompts
Brand radar can only be purchased on a monthly basis. Enterprise customers can purchase them on an annual basis (with 2 months free!)
Custom prompts (start at $50/mo)
Best for: Monitoring high-stakes questions like “What is [your brand] known for?” or “Help me choose between [your brand] vs [competitor]” and other mid or bottom-of-the-funnel questions.
Custom prompts provide an incredibly affordable way to set up and monitor how AI answers specific questions important to you and your industry. You can control which of the four supported platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot) to track AI responses from, and how often to check each AI platform.

AI Content Helper grades your content and suggests on-page improvements to improve the keyword you’re aiming to rank for. It looks at competitors in your SERP and compares that to your own content to find opportunities to improve content coverage.
AI Content Helper comes included with a document editor AI chat assistant that has full knowledge of your competitors, brand voice documentation, and ongoing draft. Use it to ask suggestions on how to improve your content draft.
Limits
- Subscription plans come included with 5 documents per month.
- The full AI Content Helper Standalone tool gives you an additional 50 documents per month
Report Builder ($99/mo)
Best for: Users who need to save time doing repeat analysis across multiple reports. Cut out unnecessary tables / charts to create clean presentations of data to colleagues and clients.
Report Builder allows you to create powerful one-pager reports using customizable Ahrefs’ live charts and tables (known as widgets). You can combine Site Explorer, Brand Radar, Rank Tracker, and GSC widgets of different websites or brands into a single report. You can also schedule to have the latest report versions emailed to you regularly, and share it with teammates or clients.
Limits
- Every plan allows you to build 5 reports for free, even the Free plan.
- The Report Builder standalone tool allows you to create up to 50 reports or set up 200 widgets across all reports, greatly expanding your report building capabilities
Project Boost Max ($200/mo)
Project Boost Max gives you powerful management capabilities for your most important websites. You’ll be able to detect high-stakes issues 24/7 with Always-on-audit, then batch fix them with Patches, and submit the fixed pages promptly for re-indexing with Submit to IndexNow. You can also Detect AI in page content for unlimited pages in that project.
Frequently asked questions about Ahrefs Pricing
What currencies and payment methods can I use to purchase an Ahrefs subscription?
Ahrefs supports the following currencies for payment: US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY).
Purchases for all our plans can be done in a self-serve manner via credit card. Payments via wire transfer is only possible for Enterprise plans.
I’m worried about running out of credits! Which plan can I pick to avoid that?
Only Lite and Starter plans have limited monthly usage credits. If you run out of your month’s credit limits, you can purchase additional credits on a pay-as-you-go-basis.
Alternatively, you can pick a Standard or higher plan that has unlimited once it is purchased, all users sharing the subscription can use it as much as you need, subject to our terms and conditions.
Standalone tools like Brand Radar have no credit usage limit.
Which plan is the best for me if I manage many websites?
Subscribers with larger or more complex websites find that they often quickly run out of crawl credits in Site Audit and tracked in Rank Tracker. The only way to increase limits for either tool is by upgrading your plan. If you feel this applies to you, consider starting with the Standard plan, which comes with 500,000 crawl credits a month, and 2000 keywords in Rank Tracker, and upgrade to a higher plan from there if you still need more.
Which subscription plan allows me to check AI platforms in Brand Radar?
Brand Radar’s AI platform indexes are separate stand-alone purchases, and do not require a base subscription plan. No base subscription plan comes with the AI platform indexes included.
