We’re looking for a Video Editor with strong motion design skills to join our creative team. This role is roughly 60% video editing and 40% motion design (sometimes 70/30 depending on projects). You’ll be crafting high-quality video content across multiple formats, from quick social clips to polished brand videos and tutorials.

The right candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, solid technical ability, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and the initiative to bring their own creative ideas to the table, we don’t want to hand-hold every frame.

What the job involves

  • Editing video content in Adobe Premiere Pro: pacing, storytelling, transitions, color correction, and music selection.
  • Enhancing audio for clarity, balance, and consistency.
  • Motion design in After Effects: animating assets, typography, and graphics to bring concepts to life.
  • Researching and sourcing supporting visuals: b-roll, screenshots, reference footage, or images (including digging into articles, sourcing relevant clips of specific people, etc.).
  • Collaborating with creative and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all projects.
  • Contributing creative concepts and ideas for storytelling, visuals, and formats.
  • Delivering high-quality content on time while meeting creative and technical standards.
  • Staying up to date with new tools and best practices in video production and motion design.

Here’s some examples of the types of video’s you’ll be working on, but we want you to help us do this 10x better!

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio/reel that demonstrates both strong editing and motion design skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong knowledge of color correction and audio editing.
  • Experience independently sourcing footage, references, and supporting visuals.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Creative thinker who can pitch and execute fresh visual ideas.
  • Highly organized and able to work autonomously with a self-starter mentality.
