Updates<\/div>\n

14th Nov: We now request the top 100 results for all keywords in Rank Tracker. You\u2019ll <\/span><\/strong>start seeing top 100 rankings at your next scheduled Rank Tracker update, typically within a week. Most queries already return full data, though a small percentage still fall back and won\u2019t show the full top 100 yet. We\u2019re tracking these cases and investigating the stability of the responses. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

29th Oct:<\/strong> We\u2019re now gradually restoring the ability to show up to 100 results per query in Ahrefs tools. The rollout is ongoing, and extended SERPs will start appearing as the update progresses.<\/p>\n

8th Oct:<\/strong> Tracking the top 100 results is now possible in Rank Tracker for Enterprise customers. We\u2019re still investigating potential solutions to scale these changes.<\/p>\n

3rd Oct:<\/strong> Google is closing even more doors on getting >10 SERP results. Some options remain, but probably not for long.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>

Google recently made changes to a specific parameter that impacts the ability to view the first 100 results for any search query.<\/div>\n

The parameter, \u201c&num=100\u201d, no longer functions as it had previously.<\/span><\/p>\n

The change has had an industry-wide impact<\/b>, including on third-party data providers to Ahrefs, who relied on this functionality to assess a website\u2019s presence in search results. <\/span><\/p>\n

While rank tracking is only one part of our product, it\u2019s important.<\/span><\/p>\n

These changes don\u2019t impact the frequency of our updates, but will reduce the number of results we can check for each term beyond Google\u2019s first page.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re continuing to monitor the situation and are reviewing ways to adapt to this new environment while minimizing disruption to your workflows.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first page of search results has always been the most valuable\u2014as that\u2019s where most clicks tend to go\u2014but there\u2019s also value in the rankings beyond that.<\/span><\/p>\n

For instance, you may want to see opportunities to improve and refresh your content, or identify recently published content that\u2019s starting to perform well on your own site or others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our aim is always to provide the most accurate and actionable data possible, and we fully understand this data is something our customers rely on.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll share updates on any new developments as they happen. <\/span><\/p>\n
