It\u2019s not all over yet. You can still apply most of the tactics below, even if it\u2019s just a simpler version. Instead, they search for the person whom they\u2019re buying for. Update seasonal content<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Holidays are seasonal within a single year, but when you look at them in decades or even centuries, they are evergreen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holidays like Valentine\u2019s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas aren\u2019t going anywhere soon. People will always be shopping during these periods. From an SEO perspective, it means search intent isn\u2019t shifting much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of creating new pages every year, make an evergreen page that you can update one or two months before the holiday. That way, you\u2019ll retain the <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/seo\/glossary\/link-equity\">link equity<\/a>, continue to build <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/seo\/glossary\/website-authority\">authority<\/a> to that one page, and hopefully, appear at the top of Google for your target query every&nbsp;year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, that\u2019s what TechRadar does every year for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/black-friday\/black-friday-deals-sales\">\u201cBlack Friday deals\u201d page<\/a>.
