However, if everyone\u2019s following this tactic, then everyone\u2019s finding the same opportunities. Competition will be rife, and guest blogs may ignore your&nbsp;pitch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t have to limit yourself to this small pool of blogs. So you want to first make sure you identify who that person is.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can usually find them by visiting the \u201cteams\u201d or \u201cabout\u201d page. Write your guest&nbsp;post<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your pitch is accepted, then it\u2019s time to&nbsp;write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recommend starting first with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/blog-post-outline\/\">outline<\/a>. Some sites may request this. But even if they don\u2019t, an outline will help flesh out your thoughts, organize the post, and prevent blank page syndrome.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create an outline, you need to know what subtopics to cover. Pitch more blogs than you can handle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The cruel reality of guest blogging is that even if they\u2019re good, your guest blogging efforts can be rejected or ignored. That\u2019s no fault of yours\u2014publications are just too&nbsp;busy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here\u2019s a controversial tip: pitch the same topics to multiple blogs. Then offer the article to whoever replies first or has a higher authority (if you get lots of replies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This way, you\u2019re never lacking for guest posts. You won\u2019t even need to be worried about rejection, for there will be another blog willing to accept your guest&nbsp;posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you get more than one reply, simply tell the&nbsp;truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Sorry, you weren\u2019t responding for a few days, so another blog took this idea.
