Hobotech<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Hobotech is one of my favorite examples of a <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/high-ticket-affiliate-marketing\/\">high-ticket affiliate marketer<\/a>. He\u2019s a YouTuber who films reviews and comparisons of expensive electricity-related products like lithium batteries and solar power stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The products he makes videos about typically cost thousands of dollars and have up to a 10% commission rate\u2014which means he\u2019s making hundreds of dollars on every&nbsp;sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of his most popular videos is his review of a portable solar power station that sells for over $2,000. His videos have pretty lackluster lighting. It\u2019s great at <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/content-distribution\/\"><strong>distributing its content<\/strong><\/a> to a lot of people through social media and its email&nbsp;list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, it simply did a lot of things right. It started out just reviewing tech products, then expanded to cover virtually every kind of product. Though, I wouldn\u2019t follow its strategy of being a broad review website without massive capital to back it up. But you can definitely follow its lead when it comes to website structure and navigation, and possibly even use programmatic SEO to create a lot of fairly high-quality pages at&nbsp;scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re interested in <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/become-affiliate-marketer\/\">becoming an affiliate marketer<\/a>, it\u2019s important to study what\u2019s working. While there are many different approaches to succeeding as an affiliate, there are a few things that are universal to success.
