Site Explorer<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Backlinks and referring domains in Overview 2.0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve added a new widget that shows you important metrics for backlinks and referring domains. Use this to get a sense for the distribution of followed, nofollow, UGC, and sponsored links for your target.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/overview2.jpg\" alt=\"Backlinks and referring domains in Overview 2.0\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1070\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>You can also see the distribution of your target\u2019s backlinks by either URL Rating or Domain Rating. This helps you to understand the quality of the backlinks your target has, since links from high-authority websites have more weight than those from low authority websites.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/urdr.jpg\" alt=\"Distribution by UR or DR\" width=\"1010\" height=\"366\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h4><strong>Outgoing links reports<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve launched three Outgoing links reports \u2013 Linked domains 2.0, Outgoing anchors 2.0, and Outgoing links, which is&nbsp;a brand new report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s start off with Linked domains 2.0, which shows you a list of the unique domains that your target is linking to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, we\u2019ve added a new linked pages column that shows you a list of&nbsp;the actual pages on each domain that your target is linking to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if you click on the number in the linked page column for Hubspot\u2019s domain, you\u2019ll see the number of pages we\u2019ve linked to and how many times we\u2019ve linked to&nbsp;them.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/linkeddomains.jpg\" alt=\"New linked pages column\" width=\"1600\" height=\"835\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve also added a bunch of new filters which you can use to quickly sift through data. For example, set the DR filter to a maximum of 10 to see which low-authority websites you link&nbsp;to.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/lddr.jpg\" alt=\"DR filter in Linked domains 2.0\" width=\"1002\" height=\"378\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Next, Outgoing anchors 2.0. This report shows the terms and phrases used in anchor texts for the outgoing links from your target website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve added new filters here as well. Quick use case: you can now add a filter for outgoing anchors by referring page language&nbsp;to look at only German anchors used on the&nbsp;site.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/anchors.jpg\" alt=\"Ref.page language filter in Outgoing links 2.0\" width=\"744\" height=\"714\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Or, add a filter for Linked domain name and type in a URL&nbsp;to see which anchors are pointing to that specific website.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/anchors2.jpg\" alt=\"Linked domain name filter in Outgoing links 2.0\" width=\"1350\" height=\"392\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Lastly, the new Outgoing links report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This report shows you all the external outgoing links on your target. Like in the previous two reports, we\u2019ve added a bunch of useful filters to help you zoom in on&nbsp;data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take this Target DR filter for example. Rank Tracker<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Visibility renamed to Share of&nbsp;Voice<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Just one small update here: we\u2019ve renamed the term \u201cVisibility\u201d to \u201cShare of&nbsp;Voice\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Share of voice is a term that\u2019s more commonly used in the SEO and marketing worlds. It represents a website\u2019s overall visibility in organic search results for the keywords being tracked and is a key metric for <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/seo-roi\/\">measuring SEO ROI<\/a>. Cross-tool update<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Traffic value in SERP overview widget<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you look at the SERP overview widget in Site Explorer or Keywords Explorer, you\u2019ll see a new Traffic value metric that shows you the estimated value of a page\u2019s monthly organic search traffic. General<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>\u201cGuest\u201d user role for Enterprise plans<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve added a new user role called Guest. Unlike other users, Guests cannot create new projects and only have access to projects and folders that are explicitly shared with them. This is perfect for controlling user access in the workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ahrefs.com\/en\/articles\/6791295-access-control-features\">access control features here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>SSO features for Enterprise plans<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve added two powerful Single Sign-On (SSO) features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you can now enable SSO-only login for the workspace. This means that workspace members cannot use other authentication methods besides SSO to log in to Ahrefs. The exceptions are the workspace owner and admins, who\u2019ll be able to login using their email and password in the case of SSO failure.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Account_settings.jpg\" alt=\"Enable SAML SSO\" width=\"1584\" height=\"494\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Second, you can now enable SCIM to make it easier for your organisation\u2019s admins to manage user access across multiple applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SCIM allows a third-party Identity Provider, or IdP, to manage users within Ahrefs workspace. Once SCIM is enabled, any user assigned to the Ahrefs application in the IdP will automatically be added to your Ahrefs workspace. So if a user isn\u2019t assigned to Ahrefs in the IdP, they will be removed from the Ahrefs workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please reach out to our support team for help with enabling SCIM for your&nbsp;IdP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s all for this month.
