It\u2019s also forged a new brand identity for Jaguar, vastly increasing brand awareness in the process.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uk.linkedin.com\/in\/rawdon-glover-699378b7\">Rawdon Glover<\/a>, Jaguar\u2019s managing director, said the rebrand was partly about making Jaguar \u201csocially relevant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>And according <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adweek.com\/brand-marketing\/creatives-weigh-in-on-jaguars-rebrand\/\">to creatives<\/a>, it\u2019s worked:<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOn Monday, almost no one was particularly interested in Jaguar. Often, the more unexpected, the better. For example, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingweek.com\/mark-ritson-omega-swatch-moonswatch-co-branding\/\">Omega and Swatch collaborated to create the MoonSwatch<\/a>. But you need to have something of value to share with your new audience, otherwise, visitors will bounce from the page and click on one of your competitors\u2019 results\u2014and forget your&nbsp;brand.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>At Ahrefs, we use paid social media to boost awareness of our blog content. In the UK, 42% said television is where they are likely to find advertising they trust, compared to 5% for social media<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Works with other channels like SEO and social media<\/strong> \u2013 Adding your social media handle or website to your ad can result in further traffic to other channels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>So, if you\u2019re sitting on a pile of cash, there\u2019s probably no better way to raise awareness of your brand than television advertising.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t come cheap, though\u2014a 30-second ad during the Superbowl would cost roughly <a href=\"https:\/\/gitnux.org\/television-advertising-statistics\/\">$5.5 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite recent examples of TV advertising was from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.calm.com\/\">Calm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>In a marketing masterclass, Calm used the 2024 U.S. election to raise brand awareness of its App by running a 30-second ad of silence.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1688\" height=\"840\" class=\"wp-image-183786\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/calm-tv-advert.jpg\" alt=\"Calm TV Advert\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/calm-tv-advert.jpg 1688w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/calm-tv-advert-680x338.jpg 680w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/calm-tv-advert-768x382.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/calm-tv-advert-1536x764.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/calm-tv-advert-400x200.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1688px) 100vw, 1688px\"><\/figure>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=I4F8iGSCUyY\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>Although the budget was big for the slot, the ad itself was about as minimal as possible.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1208\" height=\"1212\" class=\"wp-image-183787\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/joei-chan-commenting-on-calm-ad.jpg\" alt=\"Joei Chan Commenting On Calm Ad\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/joei-chan-commenting-on-calm-ad.jpg 1208w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/joei-chan-commenting-on-calm-ad-424x425.jpg 424w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/joei-chan-commenting-on-calm-ad-768x771.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/joei-chan-commenting-on-calm-ad-120x120.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1208px) 100vw, 1208px\"><\/figure>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>We saw a similar trend with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mUnzBKjWepM\">Kanye West\u2019s superbowl advert<\/a> earlier in the year. With this ad, he told people to go directly to his website in a $0 video ad shot on his iPhone in his&nbsp;car.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to scoff at an ad like this\u2014but it worked. Organic traffic for the website spiked following the ad. Rather than paying for the API, he made his own&nbsp;tool.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>When it came to choosing a domain for the tool, \u201clinks.com\u201d was not available.
