To illustrate what I mean, take a look at the two topics above.<\/p>\n<p>You can see that interest in Scrapebox has fallen massively over the past few years whereas interest in email outreach is growing. So it would likely make sense to write about email outreach over Scrapebox. Easy to use. Reasonably priced (there\u2019s a free tier&nbsp;too).<br>\n<strong>Some \ud83d\udcaa alternatives: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.activecampaign.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ActiveCampaign<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drip.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drip<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/convertkit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ConvertKit<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>A few extra \u201csupporting\u201d tools\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>These are the tools that help us do our jobs. Anyone can use them\u2014not just marketers.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/slack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Slack<\/a>: <\/strong>Messaging and collaboration tool for teams. This is how we communicate.<br>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/basecamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Basecamp<\/a><\/strong>: Project management tool. Used to keep track of ongoing projects.<br>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ifttt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IFTTT<\/a>&nbsp;\/ <a href=\"https:\/\/zapier.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zapier<\/a>: <\/strong>Marketing automation tools. Useful for automating dull repetitive tasks.<br>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/trello.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trello<\/a><\/strong>: Organization tool based on kanban boards.<br>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Airtable<\/a>: <\/strong>Spreadsheets + Trello = Airtable. I use it for managing the <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/\">Ahrefs Blog<\/a>.<br>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gsuite.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G-Suite<\/a>: <\/strong>Documents; spreadsheets; presentations; etc. All in the cloud. Helps to make copy bolder and clearer. I use it for blog&nbsp;posts.<br>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grammarly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Grammarly<\/a>: <\/strong>Spelling and grammar checker. We use it for internal docs. The UI is beautiful.<\/p>\n<h2>Final thoughts<\/h2>\n<p>So these are all the marketing tools we use at Ahrefs.<\/p>\n<p>Does that mean these are the right tools for you too? Not necessarily. All businesses are different. What\u2019s right for us may not be right for you. These are merely the tools that have made our lives easier in some way or another.
