The Chicago based company has been making household cleaning products since&nbsp;2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while you\u2019d expect a brand that sells cleaning sprays to be pretty functional and dry, Method stands out for its far from conventional marketing approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are Method\u2019s value propositions?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Method\u2019s main value proposition is that they\u2019re an all-natural brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike many cleaning products that use lots of synthetic chemicals, the majority of Method\u2019s ingredients are biodegradable and plant-based. They\u2019re so sure of their claims that the ingredients are non-toxic that in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/podcasts\/510313\/how-i-built-this?t=1627294885178\">early press interview<\/a>, founder Eric Ryan drank their toilet bowl cleaner. Don\u2019t try this at&nbsp;home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fitting in with this unconventional approach, Method has invested a lot of effort into making their bottles beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-method-bottles.jpg\" alt=\"1-method-bottles.jpg\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While other brands have clinical green, yellow or blue bottles (the colors of cleanliness), Method\u2019s bottles are works of art: multicolored, transparent, often designed in collaboration with artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019re instantly recognizable on the shelf and affirm the idea that Method products are full of natural ingredients and don\u2019t need an opaque bottle to obscure the mixture itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who are Method\u2019s target customers?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost anyone who owns a toilet, sink, or bathroom could be Method\u2019s customer, but not everyone who needs to clean will buy their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Method\u2019s most significant customer group is environmentally-conscious people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This group is mostly concerned with the production process of bottles and how the product\u2019s ingredients may affect the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Method\u2019s bottles are fully recyclable and made from recycled plastic. According to Ahrefs\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/site-explorer\">Site Explorer<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/methodhome.com\">their US site<\/a> consistently gets more than 80K visits per month from search engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/3-method-traffic.png\" alt=\"3-method-traffic.png\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They also rank #1 for many branded, high-traffic terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/4-method-high-traffic-terms.png\" alt=\"4-method-high-traffic-terms.png\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A company that does well in search <em>and <\/em>has mostly searches for branded terms has usually achieved a high level of brand awareness through other channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People already know about Method from the company\u2019s marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where are they putting in the effort to achieve this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s start with Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Method has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/methodproducts\/?hl=en\">an Instagram account<\/a> for all their major countries where they share highly visual content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/5-method-visual-content.jpg\" alt=\"5-method-visual-content.jpg\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Method\u2019s packaging is the perfect content for an audience of people who are curating their feeds, pressing \u2018like\u2019 on beautiful objects and compositions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also make pretty extensive use of <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/influencer-marketing\/\">influencer marketing<\/a>\u2014paid and earned\u2014using the hashtag #methodaddict. This shows that their customers are more likely to be keto newcomers than keto experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are Perfect Keto\u2019s key messages?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As we showed with Method above, looking at a company\u2019s homepage usually shows the kinds of things they\u2019re emphasizing in text or with their images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perfect Keto\u2019s homepage is no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/10-key-message-perfect-keto.jpg\" alt=\"10-key-message-perfect-keto.jpg\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the main message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote>There\u2019s a right way and a wrong way to do keto.
