Grouping by parent topic is your best&nbsp;bet.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say I\u2019m doing a search for \u201cespresso\u201d. We\u2019d also want to describe things like how to make it with ground coffee.<\/p>\n<p>To sum up: when doing keyword research with a broad seed, you can <strong>start by grouping by parent topic<\/strong>, and then <strong>look at the sidebar<\/strong> to learn which specific topics that people are interested in.<\/p>\n<p>From here, click on one of the parent topics to get ideas on the different kinds of subtopics that you could cover for that parent topic.<\/p>\n<h3>Grouping keywords by&nbsp;term<\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>by terms<\/strong> filter groups keywords by popular single-word terms. Which means that it\u2019ll probably be quite a tough topic to rank&nbsp;for.<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the trick: more often than not, there are ways for us to attack broader topics like this from a more specific angle.<\/p>\n<p>Just <strong>group by terms<\/strong> and <strong>check out the sidebar<\/strong>.
