Here\u2019s what the colors represent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue: Keywords unique to your website;<\/li>\n<li>Green: Keywords common to both websites;<\/li>\n<li>Yellow: Keywords unique to your competitor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To identify a good website to analyze, look at both the green and yellow sections. The competing website should have a good number of common keywords (an indicator of relevance) and a good amount of unique keywords (potential keyword opportunities you\u2019re missing out&nbsp;on).<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve selected your website, click the number under the \u201cKeywords unique to competitor\u201d column to see all keywords they\u2019re ranking for, but you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29710\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/keywords-unique-to-competitor.jpg\" alt=\"keywords unique to competitor\" width=\"1522\" height=\"698\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/keywords-unique-to-competitor.jpg 1522w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/keywords-unique-to-competitor-768x352.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/keywords-unique-to-competitor-680x312.jpg 680w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1522px) 100vw, 1522px\"><\/p>\n<h2>Find low competition keywords<\/h2>\n<p>Keyword Difficulty (KD) estimates how hard it will be to rank in the top 10 search results for a given keyword. It\u2019s scored on a scale from&nbsp;0-100.<\/p>\n<p>To find potentially low-competition keywords, set the KD filter to a maximum of&nbsp;10.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29711\" src=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/kd-max-10.jpg\" alt=\"keyword difficulty\" width=\"568\" height=\"158\"><\/p>\n<p>NOTE. The number suggested for the KD filter will vary based on your niche.
