Thanks a lot! Just one question: how can I set the segment with spam filter as default? Every time I close the browser, I see the view “All Session” and have to show the new one by hand.

It was very beneficial information for me because I was suffering from these spam bots from a long time and I tried to block them using htaccess. I blocked many but still I’m getting daily new spam bots.

Great post. It’s amazing what these guys are able to do. It seems that every new client campaign I touched was getting crushed with this type of traffic. Then once filtered out within Analytics the impact on overall traffic was so significant it made client conversations fun. You know they all understand this kind of stuff 😛
