In reply to Joshua Klinger. Thanks Joshua. It's not a bad idea to audit your site from time to time to show you're proactively trying to maintain inbound link quality. If an algorithm refresh occurs you could stand to benefit from curation as well.

This is a great, in-depth study of how to repair a site in the eyes of google. Definitely worth reading for any webmaster. Even if your site isn’t deindexed or penalized.
