But what if someone has published an article that is perfectly relevant to what you do, but he didn’t link neither to yourself nor to any of your competitors?

How To Find Influencers Who Are Talking About Your Business

NOTE: if you’re enjoying my “Oversimplified SEO” series I invite you to subscribe to Ahrefs YouTube channel.

The marketing tactic that I explain in the above video is nothing new.

Marketers were using Google Alerts pretty much since the day this tool was announced.

But like I said in my video, I was never really satisfied with the quality of these alerts from Google.

I may be tremendously biased, but I honestly believe that our “Content Alerts” tool within Ahrefs does a much better job of finding quality content based on your search criteria.

But don’t take my word for it. Go configure same alerts in both tools and see which one wins.
