A very useful post Tim. Though there are many posts written with various tips in it, there is still uncertainty over how exactly to get a content in Google Featured snippet.

I did got success in getting my content into the Google Featured Snippet by following certain norms.

I wrote a blogpost on what all I did to get my content into Google featured Snippet. And yes there were also few myths that got busted while I got success with it.

Great post, Tim.

One of our pages made it to Ahrefs’ list. We spend a few months trying to experiment with optimizing it for search snippets. I can confirm that getting them greatly increased traffic to that page.

Kudos for implementing the “search snippet finder” guys. Back in the day, we had to use search console and look for typical patterns among search queries.

Two things I’d like to add:
a. ranking number 1 greatly increases the odds of securing a snippet.
b. sometimes Google shows an answer box with text from one page and image from the other one, which really sucks…
