Since the day it was launched, Content Explorer could only search for popular content that had your keywords in the Title of the page.

And thanks to having over a billion pages indexed by this tool, the search in Titles alone was giving pretty solid results.

But obviously this wasn’t enough and we felt obliged to improve Content Explorer with more in-depth search options.

Which we finally did last week!

New Content Explorer Search Options

You may have noticed a brand new drop-down menu within the search panel of Content Explorer:

Content_Explorer

Except for searching for your keywords in Titles only, you can now also search within the actual Content of the article or “Everywhere”.

In case of searching Everywhere (Titles and Content) we’ll apply a few simple algorithms to show you what we think are the most relevant results for your search query.

But I actually suggest you to play with each of these options, because you’ll see different articles popping for each of them.

And the more awesome content you’ll be able to find – the better. Right?

So I welcome you to try these new search options and let me know what you think about them.

PS: make sure to come back next Monday for more newly released Ahrefs features!
