    Ahrefs.com is an independent tool for backlinks analysis with wide range of features.
    It is designed first of all for SEO specialists and site owners, but may be of interest to other concerned internet researchers.

  2. What differs you from other such services?

    • It is really quick in database renewal because of highly specialized concern.

  3. Where do you get the data from?
    Do you use output from Alexa, Altavista, Google, Webalta, etc?

    We use data from our own independent database. We are not affiliated with other search engines or similar services.

  4. Do you show linkspam and other imitative links?

    Our reports reflect the reality and display all discovered links.

    We focus solely on providing objective information in convenient form and leave all interpretation possibilites open:
    explore the output and investigate how search engines present data,
    what the most important links for the given website are, what the trendy topics this week are and so on - this all is limited by your imagination only :).

    Having the full information at hand you may decide on subjective estimates of links and figure out real situation with the given website or page.

  5. How do I get more information about my site or other sites?

    At first, by registering (it's free) - Site Explorer limits are lifted.
    The next step in getting more coverage is choosing paid subscription at the level suitable for your business interests.

  6. Do you have translations for the site?

    At the moment Ahrefs.com is available in English only. Translations to other languages are coming.

  7. Do you have your own hardware, or do you lease cloud computing power?

    We have our own hardware. Overall computing power reaches 4TFLOPS.

  8. What is the name of your crawler, and how to block it via robots.txt?

    We use data gathered by AhrefsBot web crawler.
